The John Wick x Brenda breeding brings together two exceptional Rottweilers, each proven not only in their own structure and presence, but in the consistency and quality of the offspring they have produced. Both have demonstrated the ability to pass on strong breed type, balanced structure, and stable, dependable temperaments across multiple litters.
Brenda, in particular, has consistently produced standout puppies that set themselves apart early. Her offspring are known for their impressive size, substantial bone, and especially their head pieces, which are correct, powerful, and uniform across both males and females. Her litters have repeatedly reflected the kind of predictability and quality that serious families recognize and seek out.
This pairing represents the type of long-term, intentional breeding the DKV program is built on, where each decision is made with generational consistency in mind rather than short-term availability. Based on the strength of both parents and their production history, this litter is expected to be in high demand.
Families who feel aligned with this level of breeding are encouraged to complete the DKV Buyer Readiness Experience and schedule a call with the breeder to determine if this pairing is the right fit. Early reservations are strongly recommended.

From birth through the first eight weeks of development, each litter is documented through weekly updates and photos. These updates provide families with a transparent look at how the puppies grow, develop, and interact during their earliest stages of life.
Brenda had an excellent pregnancy and truly seemed to enjoy every bit of it.
She spent most of her time relaxing, eating… and then eating some more. Brenda has consistently been one of our very best producers, so we are extremely excited to see what she produces out of John Wick.
She did fantastic throughout pregnancy, remained comfortable, and overall did very well from start to finish.
It was a long delivery day, but Brenda did an excellent job.
She delivered 7 puppies total. Unfortunately, we did lose one puppy, bringing the final puppy count to 1 male and 5 female puppies.
It quickly became clear that Brenda may have taken full advantage of those extra meals during pregnancy, because based on her size, we were honestly expecting a litter about twice as large. That being said, the puppies came out fat, very healthy, and extremely strong, so we were very pleased.
Brenda took her time throughout the delivery, averaging about two hours between puppies, which definitely made for a long day. However, she stayed calm, relaxed, and handled everything beautifully. She rested when needed, took naps between deliveries, and approached the entire process with confidence.
Most importantly, she is absolutely obsessed with her babies and has proven once again to be a perfect mother. Brenda is doing an incredible job, just as we expected from her.
We post litter updates each Sunday evening. Please forgive us if we run a little late from time to time.
During the first two weeks, we keep interaction with the puppies very minimal. This allows them the time they need to properly develop and bond with their mother during this critical early stage.
We will typically post a newborn litter photo during our Week 1 update, followed by updated photos at 3 weeks, 5 weeks, and 7 weeks. We also try to capture and share videos along the way as the puppies begin to develop, play, and interact more.
We do not post photos frequently after birth, as our primary focus during these early weeks is on proper development, health, and stability, rather than constant handling or interruption.
Thank you for your patience and for following along as the litter grows.
We are posting this update a little early this week, as we will not be available this weekend when we normally share our Sunday evening updates. We do have a few photos and videos for everyone as well since I know everyone is excited to see the newborns!
These beautiful puppies will be turning one week old and are doing excellent.
This is a very exciting combination for us. John Wick is an extremely impressive male with massive structure and a powerful head, out of the world-famous Virtus in Europe. Paired with Brenda, who is equally as impressive, and one of our best producers, we were really looking forward to this litter.
At this stage, everything is exactly how it should be. The puppies are nursing well, staying content, and continuing to gain strength each day. They are sleeping 22+ hours a day, waking only to nurse and then settling right back in.
We keep interaction very minimal during this first week. There is no need to over-handle them at this stage. This time is all about allowing them to grow, build strength, and bond with their mother.
Their eyes are still sealed closed and ears are sealed shut, so for now, it’s simply about letting nature take its course.
Brenda is one of our best mothers. She is doing an excellent job with them and is very attentive, making sure each puppy is cared for.
Everything is right on track, and we’re very happy with how this litter is progressing so far.

The puppies are now two weeks old and doing great.
Brenda continues to be a perfect mother, just as expected. She stays very close to the puppies and remains extremely attentive to them throughout the day.
As with all litters, the first two weeks are usually very quiet with not much activity going on. This stage is mainly about allowing the puppies to grow, develop, and bond closely with their mother.
During these early weeks, puppies cannot regulate their own body temperatures, so it is very important that they stay close to mama at all times. We also keep the whelping box warm and comfortable around the clock.
The puppies spend most of their day sleeping, waking only to nurse before falling right back asleep. Their eyes and ears remain sealed closed during most of the first two weeks, making this a very calm and quiet stage overall.
One of the biggest updates this week is that their eyes have started beginning to open, which is always exciting to see. Their ears will begin opening shortly after.
As mentioned above in our update schedule, we typically take photos at 1, 3, 5, and 7 weeks of age, so we will have new photos scheduled for the next update once their eyes and ears are fully opened. That should be a very exciting update for everyone.
Overall, it has been another quiet but very important week with the newborns, and everything continues progressing right on track.
The puppies are now three weeks old and doing great.
As mentioned in previous updates, the first few weeks are typically very quiet with not much to report. The puppies still spend the majority of their day sleeping, often 22+ hours a day, waking only to nurse before falling right back asleep.
One of the biggest milestones is that their eyes and ears are now fully opened. They are becoming much more aware of their surroundings and starting to take in the world around them.
The puppies still stay very close to mama, but we are beginning to see them venture away from her for short periods before making their way back. They are also starting to interact more with their littermates. It isn't quite what most people would think of as real play yet. Right now, it's mostly gentle nudges, little paw taps, and gumming on a sibling's ear as they learn how to interact with one another.
For the most part, they waddle around a bit, find a comfortable sibling, and pile on top of each other for another nap. They absolutely love sleeping in puppy mounds. Whatever warm body they can find, they will lay on. They are so stinkin' cute.
I know everyone is eager to finally get a closer look at these babies. I spent my time taking photos of our other litter yesterday and today since they are going to their new homes this week, so I will get photos of these babies on Tuesday. Yay! I will send out an email to everyone when the photos are posted online.
These puppies are growing beautifully, and we're excited to continue sharing their progress as they develop over the coming weeks.
We do still have one female puppy available from this litter. If you know someone who may be looking for an exceptional Rottweiler puppy, we would greatly appreciate you sharing our website with them. Thanks and talk to you all soon!

The puppies are now four weeks old and becoming much more active each day.
This is always one of the most fun stages to watch because their personalities are really starting to emerge. What was once a very quiet nursery is now filled with little growls, barks, and playful interactions between the puppies.
The puppies are becoming more confident moving around the whelping box and are spending much more time interacting with their siblings. We are seeing lots of gentle wrestling, pawing at each other, and carrying on their little puppy games throughout the day.
One of the biggest milestones this week is that the puppies have been introduced to toys for the first time. They are very curious and are beginning to explore new objects and experiences around them.
We have also started introducing puppy food. The puppies were already showing a lot of interest whenever Brenda was eating, so it was clear they were ready for something new. They are still nursing with mama, but have begun their transition to puppy food and are doing very well.
Brenda continues to be an excellent mother. She is still very attentive to the puppies, but she is also beginning to take short breaks throughout the day as the puppies become more independent and confident.
Overall, this litter is doing fantastic. They are playful, healthy, curious, and developing exactly how we hoped they would. We continue to be very excited about this John Wick X Brenda combination and look forward to watching them grow over the coming weeks.
We still have two female puppies available from this litter. If you know someone looking for a German Rottweiler puppy, we would greatly appreciate you sharing our website with them. 🌐 www.DKVRottweilers.com
The puppies are now five weeks old and continuing to develop exactly as expected.
They are becoming much more playful and active each day. We are seeing lots of wrestling, exploring, and interaction between the puppies as their personalities continue to emerge. They are also enjoying their toys and spending more time investigating everything around them. Curiosity is definitely starting to take over.
The puppies are beginning the weaning process from mama. They will still be nursing every day, but the number of times will slowly decrease as their kibble food intake will increase. It seems as if they are becoming more interested in their extra meals each day. This is an important step as we prepare them for the transition to their future homes.
Overall, the litter is progressing very nicely. They are healthy, confident, curious, and right where we want them to be for this stage of development.
Unfortunately, we do not have new photos to share today. We spent the weekend out of town visiting family as a loved one prepares for an upcoming surgery. We will get new photos as soon as we return and look forward to sharing them with you.
As always, thank you for following along with the John Wick X Brenda litter journey.

The puppies are now six weeks old and doing great.
Their personalities are really starting to bloom, and it has been a lot of fun watching each puppy develop. They are playful, social, affectionate, and becoming more interactive with us each day. We are also very pleased with their color and overall appearance. This litter continues to impress us as they grow.
The puppies are now spending most of their day on kibble and are in the final stages of being weaned off of mama. Brenda is still happy to spend time with them, but the puppies are becoming more independent and preparing for the next stage of their development.
Later this week, the puppies will be heading to the veterinarian for their first set of vaccinations and physical examinations. This is always an exciting milestone as we begin preparing them for their future homes.
Following their vet appointment, we will schedule new photos for everyone and begin the puppy selection process. Selections typically only take a day or two to complete, and once that process is finished, we will begin finalizing all official paperwork for each puppy.
This includes:
• Health Statements
• Vaccine Records
• USDA Health Certificates (for interstate travel)
• Purchase Contracts
• Health Guarantees
• AKC Registrations
If you are receiving your puppy through one of our delivery services, I will also be sending invoices this week for any scheduled transportation arrangements. For families located outside of Georgia, a USDA Health Certificate is required for interstate travel.
We are getting very close to the finish line now. Thank you all for following along and trusting DKV Rottweilers. We look forward to sharing updated photos and beginning selections very soon.
First, we'd like to wish all of the dads out there a very Happy Father's Day! We hope you're enjoying a wonderful day with your family.
It's hard to believe, but the time has finally arrived! The puppies are now seven weeks old and getting ready for the next chapter of their lives.
This litter is doing amazing. The puppies are beautiful, confident, affectionate, and their personalities have really blossomed over the past week. We have been very pleased with how this John Wick × Brenda combination has developed, and we truly believe these puppies are going to mature into exceptional adults.
The puppies are now fully weaned off of Brenda and are doing excellent on their puppy kibble. They are confident, playful, and more than ready for the adventures that await them.
We have a busy week ahead of us!
The puppy selection process has officially begun, and we know everyone is excited to find out which puppy will be joining their family.
The puppies will also be returning to the veterinarian on Tuesday to complete their health documentation. This includes their physical exams, vaccine records, health certificates, and all paperwork needed to prepare them for their new homes.
Everyone should have already received emails containing puppy care information, recommended pet supplies, feeding instructions, and helpful tips to make the transition as smooth as possible. If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're always happy to help.
Deliveries and pickups will begin this weekend, and we couldn't be more excited for all of our DKV families. It has been a pleasure raising this litter, and we know these puppies are going to bring many years of love, loyalty, and companionship to their new homes.
Congratulations to all of our new DKV families, and thank you for trusting DKV Rottweilers. We can't wait to watch these puppies grow and remain part of your family's journey for years to come. 🖤🐾
