EXERCISE

The Rottweiler is a working breed and requires daily exercise. If a Rottweiler is unable to burn energy, they can become disobedient, anxious, and destructive.

TRAINING

Obedience training and socialization are the two most important owner responsibilities. Both training and socialization can be introduced as early as 8 weeks of age.

GROOMING

Contrary to popular beliefs, Rottweilers do shed and require routine grooming. Undercoat shedding is most profound during the change of seasons and during heat cycles in females.
